Angela Martino-Higdon, Director Angela Martino-Higdon began her studies at the age of eight at Back Mt Dance studio under the direction of Robert Oberst. She studied tap, jazz and lyrical and belonged to several award-winning performance groups, in addition to competing in numerous competitions around the tri-state area. Throughout the years she has taken part in many community and television performances, talent shows, and parades. Nine years forward, she begins her teaching career, offering instruction at several schools both locally and in the Allentown area. She was a member of the Penn State Lehigh Valley dance team, choreographer for the Emmaus High School dance team, and senior competition coach at East Coast Dance Connection in Allentown Pa. Angela has experience with musical theater choreography, working with the Back Mt. Youth Theater company on several productions. She has also worked with several special needs and non-english speaking students. Angela and her husband Jonathan have two daughters, Gianna and Serafina. She looks forward to sharing her love of dance with all of her new students! |
